Construction of Contents Page:
Production Process:
First I opened up a new document in the software "InDesign" and used an A4 page.
Rule of Thirds:
Then I added in rulers to divide my page using the rule of thirds as guidelines.
I created a title using sans - serif font and placed it at the top of my page across all the thirds. My research showed that most of the titles for contents stood out from the rest of the page and was usually found at the top of the page, bolder then the rest of the text.

This shows me with the title box highlighted and then altering the size of the letters. Then to make it stand out more I added a effect from under "Object" called drop shadow where I could increase and decrease the opacity.
I added a smaller image to the bottom left hand side of the page. I used one of the images I took of traditional Indian style jewellery, since this was rich and glamorous it would suit the theme of the magazine well. First I placed in the image which was under my files.
I then scaled this image so that it fitted neatly within one third of the page.

I made a quick video for my three new improved products: front cover, contents and double page spread. It shows the stages of my products developing.
