House Style:

House style in a magazine is the consistant use of similiar typography, colour scheme, font, features and layouts. etc. House styles are useful for making a successful magazine seem organised and give it a specific look associated with its brand and it's ethos.
A House Style makes the magazines easily identifable to it's target audience because of its specific style which is similiar across most of the brand's magazines. This can also be achieved through page furniture and interesting design elements used throughout the magazine, to which readers become familiar with.
Colour Scheme:
Circles seem to be a consistant theme which has been taken out of the title masthead.
The background of the front cover is a gradient of blue, which is then used in some of the text, which is a consistant housestyle.

The yellow on the sub heading borders has been taken from the yellow in the masthead title of "Billboard". This is a clear house style as the the colour scheme seems consistant making the design regular.
The outfit of the singer works well against the dark background, which highlights her more as well as the white text and title that is a type of house syle, as the main colours are black/white and yellow.
Layout:

The layout is also a feature of House Style, which is ideally shown in the "Billboard" magazines. Throughout their magazine's contents page, there is mostly always a colunm on the left hand side of the page, followed by the rest of the page being divided into three sections. The top part of the page with title of the page along with thre pictures. Then the middle section of the page with more writing but also with the largest side image on the page.
Typography:

The style and the boldness from the title is taken as used to highlight the name of the protaginist on the cover. The font on this front cover stays conistant and the house style seems to be Sans - serif white and yellow capital letters. This may be used throught the magazine.
