Front Page Analysis 2:
In this front cover, the text seems to be located mainly on one side of the page. The main colours used are white and yellow, which is useful as the colour is taken from the yellow in the title. The font style seems consistant in being Sans - serif but the text is arranged in different font sizes which makes information more eye catching.
The composition of the protaginist, Taylor Swift works effectively. The side angle view and medium close up, is useful for showing the readers close detail such as facial expression as well as parts of clothing. This works well to draw in readers as the singer looks both enticing and empowered.
The MastHead of "Billboard" is composed at the top of the page and is clearly identifiable and visible, despite one thid of the text being set out behind the model. This layout is interesting as it adds more attention to the singer, "Taylor Swift" who seems to be the main focus, on this front cover.
The Bold, white letters of "Taylor Swift" work well as a design element as the text is the next f largest information on the page, after the title and the image. This hooks the reader's attention and it links the text to the image, which is important for making connections.
