Green screen - My example:
A Green screen is very useful for film makers, yet it is simple to create. First, you should set up your screen in room that is well lit with the sheet you use well ironed for the best results. This also makes it easier in the post production because when ediiting it is sensitive to the different shades of green.
I attactched the green sheet to the wall making sure it was secure with tape. Once it was all set up I positioned the camera on the tri - pod infront of the green screen, so that it only shows what was within the frame. Next, I recorded some clips of my class mate Amelia where she planned some action and dialogue. The storyline was based on her waking up in winter wonderland, so she pretended to be intrigued.
Once we had all our filming finished, I uploaded the clips to the computer and started a new programme in "Premieur Pro CS6" and then i imported the clips i wanted to use and trimmed it to a suitable length.
Then I used the ultra key tool on the green screen clips, where i selected the main shade of green by using the colour picker tool to replace the green background with black.
Once i was happy with the quality of the edited clip I added in a downloaded background of Alice in Wonderland and added this into a new layer. This went underneath my original clip on the timeline. Finally, I selected both clips and the scale tool to resize it to fit within the same frame and the re positioned amelia to be in the right place to suit the background.
