Leave colour is an interesting skill I devloped, where I could film a clip then edit it so that everything within the frame was black and white, and only one colour was left shown. 

 

First my class mate recorded me walking through the cooridoor with a orange book. Then I imported my clips into the editing programme "Premier Pro CS6" and then dragged the clip into the time line so that I could start editing.

 

Next, under the effects text box I searched for the leave colour tool and dragged it onto my clip. Once this was done, in the video effects text box I used the colour picker tool after resizing my clip to fit within the frame. I then increased the "amount too..." 100% which desaturates the clip. 

 

Ater that, I selected the colour I wanted to focus on with the colour took then adjusted it myself with the colour scale to ensure I could get a colour closest to the orange book. I also made sure that the setting was on "using hue" and then I adjusted the tolerance and edge softness to make the colour im focusing on more distinctive. 

 

From this I now have a black and white clip where only the book is orange.
