LINEAR WIPE

 

A Linear wipe is a type  transition used in film where the same person appears within the same frame. This creates the illusion of it being a double act which appears in popular films such as "The Parent Trap". Here Lindsay Lohan appears to be twins but really she is acting the scene out twice as if she is two different people.
